OPEN HOUSES:
Open Houses will help you discover what SMC has to offer for students. During these sessions, you can meet faculty, staff, parents, and students, ask questions, and tour the campus.

OPEN HOUSE DATES FOR THE 2025-2026

• Sunday, January 26th, 2024 - 10 am - 3 pm 

"Eagle" SHADOWING:

We invite prospective students (generally grades 4-8) to shadow current students during the fall and spring semesters. We recommend the visit be on a Wednesday so prospective students can experience our mass days. To schedule a shadow visit, please email infoSMC@smcschool.org.

The prospective student will be matched with a current student according to grade level and will spend the morning attending classes with that student. Students will also get lunch and participate in recess. Parents will attend an information session with the admission team during the visit. 

Expectations for Eagle Shadowing: 

• What should a shadow student wear? -- Nice casual clothing is recommended for a shadow day. Examples are khaki pants, knit polo-type shirts, casual dresses, nice slacks, and blouses.
• Please --no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, low-cut tops, or flip-flops. 
• When is the arrival time? -- Please arrive by 7:50 am and check in at the admin office.
• What is the expectation for parents? Please attend mass with us. After mass, we will have an information session about the admission process.
• When is the pick-up time? -- Please pick up at 1:00 pm in the admin office.  
• Who can I shadow? -- We will match the prospective student with a current student in the same grade level. 

THE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS:

Each January, the application for the following school year is made available.

New student applications, including all required documentation and application fees, are due at the end of February. After submitting applications, families will be contacted regarding teacher recommendations, admission screening, and family interviews.

• Current Year-to-Date Report Card
• Transfer from Public school: We will need all documentation such as withdrawn documents, 504, IEP, GT, and LPAC documentation from public school.

After applying, we will contact you regarding admission screening and family interviews with the principal.
